to the past

There is a place
where pain is forbidden

at times,
I deem it
to be my utopia

I seem to cry tears of wine
that you cannot resist

and
oblivious as I am,
I oblige
to your addiction.

explicity
you seem to drink my pain

needles in my heart -
nectar in your tongue.

    'needles in my heart -
    nectar in your tongue'

Such an exquisite job in rendering two perceptions of one feeling.

  5. wudnt it be a bitch if we could just fly ??!!
to just stand with our arms stretched and feel ourselves being carried away
to get lost in the waves, as the air rocks us to and fro
    death might feel like flying.

  7. A wonderful, impressionistic piece. The lines are so direct, but still with a smoothness about them . . . .

  12. It's like the feeling of disallowing regret -deciding what's done is done and relishing in the power that it has over others yet still wishing to be controlled by someone else because of the pleasure it gives.

  13. This is very dark and mysterious. I like!

    My favorite line:

I seem to cry tears of wine
    that you cannot resist

  14. Is it possible for you to stay in your utopia to prevent people drinking your pain? Addiction is nothing more than a habit which can't be broken by the person in question. Perhaps it's time you stepped up to the plate and broke their habit for them?

sir barett - yes, you could say that. Thank you for your thoughts.

stan laurel - yes, i like that it seems mysterious too, because it is very much open to other interpretations :) That is my favorite line too. thank you for visiting!

jeut - I did, a long time ago already. I read an old journal entry form 3 years back, I kinda started reminiscing. haha. thanks for the visit! I love your comics!
