It's like the feeling of disallowing regret -deciding what's done is done and relishing in the power that it has over others yet still wishing to be controlled by someone else because of the pleasure it gives.
Is it possible for you to stay in your utopia to prevent people drinking your pain? Addiction is nothing more than a habit which can't be broken by the person in question. Perhaps it's time you stepped up to the plate and broke their habit for them?
